Q: Who have you worked with and what results have you achieved??

Q: Why do you give away a free report with valuable techniques on how to get new customers?
A: People tell us we're CRAZY to give away our knowledge for FREE! But frankly it's a pretty simple concept that serves us well, because when you see all the great ideas we have in just this one area, you'll want to know more about how we can help YOU! And that's good for us.

Q: What type of business owner benefits most from your services?
A: Great question! Business owners who choose to work with us are those who want truly independent advice. Typically, they would also hire an independent fee-for-services financial advisor or an independent CPA, because they want answers they know are designed to help them and no one else, instead of a thinly disguised sales pitch from a commissioned sales rep with a limited product offering.

Those who benefit most are in the professions (CPA's, dentists, etc.) or in product or service oriented industries, have been up and running for a couple of years (or more) and have gross revenues of between $500K and $25M. We will consider clients outside of this range on a case-by-case basis.

Q: Why should someone work with you, instead of one of the many government agencies that offer free help?
A: Many government agencies offer "free" help to business owners. They are usually staffed by well meaning and well educated employees. And therein lays the problem! You will be counseled by a government employee (whose regular paycheck is not tied to the advice they give) who will give you government advice, and provide you with materials designed and developed by the government to bet your business, assets, and livelihood on. By the way, the government operates at a deficit...

With all that you have at risk, do you really want the advice of a salaried, pensioned, market-insulated, 9-to-5 government employee?

A: Check out our About Us page, where you'll find bios of some of the sharpest minds in the industry, principals and affiliates who own or have owned their own businesses, with broad based experience, and know first hand what it's like to have your home, retirement, and nearly every tangible asset at risk in your business. They've been through the "school of hard knocks" and know first hand what you're facing.

Q: Why do you bear the expense of offering a free initial consultation?
A: Offering an initial consultation at no charge has a couple of benefits for us:

  1. Offering an initial interview at no charge is a technique called "risk reversal", where we assume the expense of our time and effort in order to learn whether we can help the prospective clients who contact us. No initial expense on the part of the prospective client allows them a risk-free way to explore whether they feel the same way.
  2. Learning the challenges the business owner is facing also allows us to stay current on general market conditions; we use that knowledge to help those who retain us to stay ahead of the game. We heard the recession coming long before it arrived in the news...and we were able to prepare our clients in advance.

Q: Why do you offer such a broad spectrum of support?
A: There are some folks who are born "do it yourselfers". Others want substantial support immediately or sustained support over the longer term. So, we offer a spectrum of support, from suggested reading, to regular phone-based business coaching, to full blown on-location business growth consulting, to meet the needs of those who contact us.
